There are parts of you that cannot be reached in the light
On the cusp of Samhain, and October’s Full Hunter’s moon, when the veil between worlds grows thin, there is a seasonal shift that beckons to you.
A whisper that calls to your heart and says, “now is the time to go deeper, to trust the seasons of darkness, to not fear them but embrace them as a friend.” Your ancestors knew this threshold moment, the one that calls to you in the golden hues of Autumn, where leaves fall, nights become crisp and cool, and your power rises to meet you.

This whisper is the one that tells you to embrace the darker seasons, the one that asks you to go within and awaken the magic of the woman who is remembering her power. It feels like an invitation into a season meant to hold you deeply, the one that shows you that the veil between worlds is starting to fall.

This moment calls to you, the one where the are meeting yourself in the darkness and feel safety in your depths. Each year the Wheel turns, the harvest is gathered, and the forests release their leaves without apology.
Each year the earth descends willingly into darkness, trusting
what winter knows, that the seasons turn as the cycle of life.
%20(1).jpg)
Yet we resist because we’ve have been taught to fear the dark, not because the darkness is dangerous, but because the darkness reveals. It strips away everything that cannot follow you where you're going, it asks you to let go. To surrender what you are no longer meant to carry into the next season of life.

This is the season that asks you to stop looking away from your life and to sit with what has been waiting beneath the surface, instead of trying to silence it or rise above it.

You know that there are parts of you that cannot be reached in the light. That the ancient wisdom of befriending the darkness of life is part of the cyclical nature of your being, and in this energy, this season, your power meets you there. You are learning to find safety in the Autumn and Winter seasons of life, to trust yourself more fully than ever before, and awaken your magic.

This time is where the veil between worlds, between self, between the darkness and light, is thin. The full moon, Samhain, the darker nights and crisp cool air, they are reminders of the ancient wisdom that lives here.

This is for the woman who has walked through the darkness and is learning to trust herself within it.
The one who knows life is both devastating and breathtaking and is no longer interested in pretending she is only light.
This is for the woman ready to reclaim the abandoned parts of herself, to trust her duality, to trust that all of her is welcome on the journey.

The veil is already falling.
The only question is—will you step through?

The Gathering
October 23–26, 2026
Blue Star Retreat Center in Columbia Falls, Montana
Nestled beneath towering pines and only minutes from Glacier National Park, Blue Star Retreat Center becomes our home as the Wheel of the Year turns toward Samhain. A place where the mountains feel ancient, the stars return, and the land itself invites you to slow down.

This is an intimate gathering, intentionally limited to 14 women.

Small enough to know every name and large enough to feel the power of women gathered in circle.

What if the darkness is not where you lose yourself, but where you finally stop performing?

For the woman who…

Feels like she has already begun her awakening, but knows there is another layer asking to be met. You have asked the questions, read the books, listened to the podcasts, pulled the cards, followed the intuitive breadcrumbs, and opened doors inside yourself you were once taught to keep locked. And still, something deeper is calling.

Has lived through seasons that rearranged her from the inside. Grief, motherhood, heartbreak, deconstruction, identity shifts, spiritual rupture, loneliness, disappointment, fear — whatever form it took, you know what it feels like to be split open and still keep living.
Is learning to hold the duality of being human in real time. You can love your life and still ache for something more. You can be grateful and grieving, joyful and enraged, soft and sovereign, deeply loved and still lonely. You are no longer interested in pretending you are only light.

Has tried to heal by becoming better, brighter, more disciplined, more regulated, more productive, more “in alignment” — and is realizing there are parts of her that cannot be reached through optimization. You do not need another checklist for fixing yourself. You need a threshold where the performance can soften.

Is tired of making her own longing more palatable. You are done shrinking your knowing until everyone else feels comfortable. You are done explaining yourself away before your inner voice can finish speaking. You are done asking the outside world to approve what your body already knows.

Feels her power rising, then catches herself pulling it back. The good girl, the peacekeeper, the shape-shifter, and the people pleaser have done holy work to keep you safe — but you can feel that they cannot lead you where you are going now.

Is afraid of what might happen if she fully trusts herself. Not just afraid of failure, but afraid of the honesty that could follow. Afraid of being misunderstood. Afraid of becoming less agreeable, less digestible, less easily explained. Afraid that if the veil falls, she may have to admit how much of her life has been shaped around expectation instead of desire.

Is opening to a more mystical, embodied way of knowing. Intuition, synchronicity, energy, ritual, dreams, ancestors, the body, the seasons, the moon — you are learning to hear the signal beneath the noise, even when you do not yet have polished language for what you know.

Longs to be witnessed without performing. You want to be in a room where you do not have to over-explain the fact that you are changing. Where depth does not require solemnity. Where laughter can live beside tears. Where spiritual work is allowed to be beautiful, grounded, strange, playful, sensual, and real.

Craves a circle of women who can hold the bigness. Women who are not afraid of emotional depth, nuance, shadow, beauty, magic, or the unknown. Women who will not rush to fix you, flatten you, or make your becoming easier to understand.

Is ready to stop fearing her own darkness. Not because life has become predictable, but because she is ready to become safe inside herself. Ready to release what no longer belongs. Ready to reclaim the parts of herself that were never broken — only buried.

Feels the pull toward Montana, the mountains, the fire, the full moon, the velvet-dark magic of Samhain, and cannot quite explain why. You may not know exactly what will happen there. You may only know that something in your body whispered, this is for me.

If you are done tiptoeing around your own becoming — you are in the right place.
VeilFall is an intimate Samhain and Hunter’s Moon retreat for women who are ready to stop fearing their own darkness and begin trusting the wisdom, instinct, and magic that live beneath the performance.
Through ritual, embodiment, elemental practice, soul-led facilitation, and sacred sisterhood, this gathering invites women to release what no longer belongs, reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to abandon, and cross the threshold into a deeper, more sovereign relationship with themselves.
Your hosts
Emily Reuschel is a mom of four, retreat facilitator, Soul Expansion Coach, and host of the Wild & Waking podcast. Rooted on her multi-generational family farm in rural Illinois, Emily’s work is shaped by a deep reverence for the wisdom of the land, the turning of the seasons, and the transformations that ask us to release who we have been before we can become who we are meant to be.
Through intimate gatherings, sacred inquiry, and honest conversations, Emily guides women across the thresholds of identity, belief, and becoming. She creates spaces where the good girl, the peacekeeper, the performer, and the shape-shifter can finally loosen their grip and where the truths buried beneath responsibility, approval, and expectation can rise.
At Veilfall, Emily brings her grounded warmth, intuitive facilitation, and willingness to sit beside women in both the darkness and the remembering, helping them reclaim their inner wisdom, trust what is awakening within them, and step more fully into lives that feel deeply, undeniably their own.

Kelsey Anderson is an author, energy intuitive, soul guide, and host of the Reclamation podcast. Her work explores intuition, self-trust, spirituality, and the quiet remembering of who we are beneath the noise of modern life.
After leaving a career in business management consulting, Kelsey followed a deeper calling into the intuitive arts. What began as a personal awakening became nearly a decade of study and eight years of guiding women back to their own inner wisdom through energy work, intuitive guidance, teaching, and transformational experiences.
She is the author of The Signal: Listen to Your Intuition Through the Noise of Modern Life, a book about learning to trust the intuitive signal within us all. Through her writing, podcast, and teachings, Kelsey bridges the mystical and the grounded, helping people recognize that intuition isn't something they need to find—it is something they already carry within them, a living language of the universe.
Kelsey brings warmth, honesty, and a grounded approach to the unseen, creating experiences that invite women to question old programming, reconnect with themselves, and trust the guidance that has been there all along.

Did someone say.....
Book Fair?!?!
YEP! The VeilFall Book Fair is basically your elementary school Book Fair after it grew up, started reading tarot, and moved into Sabrina Spellman’s house.
Think carefully chosen books, oracle and tarot decks, crystals, wand-making materials, magical little treasures, and that same giddy “I have ten dollars and absolutely no adult supervision” feeling you had walking into the school library as a kid…
Only now you’re surrounded by your new witchy best friends and every title you would have added to cart is already yours and right there within reach.

ETA: The entire book fair experience is included in your retreat investment!

Dive Deeper into VeilFall
Listen to Kelsey on Wild & Waking

In this conversation, Kelsey and Emily explore intuition, self-trust, fear, conditioning, and the wisdom beneath the noise of modern life.
Kelsey shares the story behind her book, The Signal, and what it looked like to trust the creative process, follow intuitive timing, release perfectionism, and bring something deeply personal into the world before it felt perfectly polished.

This episode offers a clear window into what Kelsey brings to VeilFall: grounded spiritual discernment, energetic depth, practical intuition, and a deep reverence for the parts of women that have been silenced, hidden, or taught not to trust themselves.
Together, Emily and Kelsey talk about fear as a guide, intuition as a language of the soul, darkness as a place of power, and the magic that becomes available when women stop searching outside themselves and begin listening within.

Listen to Emily on Reclamation

In this conversation, Emily and Kelsey explore the deeper emotional and spiritual terrain behind VEILFALL: darkness, identity reclamation, seasonality, feminine conditioning, and the threshold moments that change us.
Emily shares honestly about the season she’s been walking through as a mother, creator, and woman in deep transition, and how learning to sit with the depths instead of performing “fine” has become part of her own reclamation.

This episode speaks directly to the woman who knows something is shifting, but can’t quite name what yet.
Together, Emily and Kelsey talk about the systems that disconnect women from themselves, the beauty of seasonal living, the power of women gathering in intentional spaces, and why retreat can become a compressed moment of unraveling, remembering, activation, and return.

VeilFall is for the woman who is already deep in her journey
She doesn't need convincing that there's more — she's felt it for years, in the questions she can no longer unask and the roles that once felt safe but now feel too tight around her ribs.

Maybe it started with therapy, motherhood, grief, a health crisis, a career shift, a relationship rupture — or the slow ache of realizing the life she built is beautiful, but not entirely honest. At first the unraveling felt exciting: books, podcasts, programs, the little sparks of curiosity lighting up the edges of her life. Then the work got deeper. It stopped being about becoming a more confident, polished version of herself, and started asking her to examine the whole architecture of who she was taught to be — her faith, her family, her worth, her relationship to goodness, obedience, anger, desire, power.

She began to see that so much of what she called personality was actually protection. So much of what she called being easygoing was self-abandonment. So much of what she called being good was staying small enough to remain acceptable. She is the good girl, the peacekeeper, the people pleaser — the woman who apologizes for taking up space and pulls her own power back the moment it rises. You know her. You've carried her for years, and she has done holy work keeping you safe. But she cannot lead you where you're going now. The woman coming to life in you doesn't ask permission to exist. She stands in the center of herself — unmoving and sovereign.

Maybe by every visible measure, your life looks good. People you love, work that matters, a home you're grateful for. Maybe nothing is "wrong enough" to justify the ache you keep feeling. And yet part of you feels far away from yourself — tired of surviving inside identities that no longer fit, tired of making your own longing more palatable. You're learning to hold duality in real time: gratitude and grief, joy and rage, summer on the outside and winter within. Life can be devastating and breathtaking, and you're no longer interested in pretending you're only light.
This is precisely why VeilFall is calling you. Not because you're broken — because you've become strong enough to stop looking away.

For years, maybe you've tried the path of improvement: more disciplined, more grateful, more regulated, more "in alignment." Trying to optimize the healing, extract the lesson too quickly, turn the unraveling into something useful before it was ready. And still, life keeps asking you to go deeper — not because you've failed, but because some parts of you can't be reached through optimization. Maybe the answer isn't to get out of the dark as fast as possible. Maybe this season isn't a problem to solve. Maybe it's a threshold. And thresholds aren't crossed by the woman still negotiating with her own knowing.

This is where the fear lives — not just fear of failure, but fear of what happens if you fully trust yourself. Fear of disappointing people who've benefited from you staying the same. Fear of your anger, because you were taught it makes you unsafe. Fear of your grief, because you were taught it makes you ungrateful. Fear of your intuition, your power, your becoming too honest to keep abandoning yourself.

VeilFall is for the woman standing right there — brilliant, capable, quietly powerful, with visions she's doubted and minimized and made smaller before letting them live. Underneath the imposter syndrome and the need for more confidence is something deeper: a disconnection from self that was never an accident. You were taught to seek certainty outside yourself — the right label, the right box, the right rules. Now you're learning something harder: how to live without clenching around certainty, how to hold nuance in a world addicted to hot takes, how to listen for the signal beneath the noise. The noise will still exist. The old roles will still know how to pull you back. But you are learning the song of your own soul, clearly enough to follow it in the middle of real life.

This isn't about becoming a better version of yourself. It's about becoming a more honest one — a woman who can hold her darkness and her light without severing herself from either, who no longer confuses softness with smallness, who can be tender without self-abandoning, loving without being endlessly available, powerful without making herself harsh.

This is sovereignty. Not the cold, lone-wolf kind — the embodied kind. The kind that says:
I can be in relationship and still belong to myself. I can be afraid and still move. I can be uncertain and still listen. I can be seen and not perform. I can walk through fire and stop mistaking the ashes for the end of the story.

When you stop fearing your own darkness, you stop being owned by it. When you stop treating uncertainty as failure, you recognize it as a threshold. What becomes possible isn't a fantasy life where nothing hurts — it's a real life where you no longer have to leave yourself in order to live it. Joy without bypassing grief. Power without performance. Community without losing sovereignty.

This is the woman VeilFall was created for — the woman who wants to feel rooted, clear, sovereign, alive. Who wants a room where she doesn't have to over-explain the fact that she's changing. Who wants to feel like all of her is welcome: the woman who laughs loudly, who cries unexpectedly, who is tired, who doubts, who has walked through hell and back and is ready to alchemize.

We won't hold you by telling you who to become, or making ourselves the authority over your inner life. We'll hold you by creating a container strong enough for your own knowing to rise.

Kelsey brings soul guidance, energy intuition, psychic mediumship, Reiki, and years of helping women reclaim the voice they were conditioned not to trust — reflecting them back to themselves rather than handing them answers. Emily brings years of gathering women in retreats, coaching, and identity reclamation work — the unraveling of who you were taught to be against who you were before the world named you.
Together: the soul-level mirror and the group container. The unseen and the embodied architecture of transformation. Both bring lived experience, and the understanding that depth doesn't require solemnity — that women can talk about the underworld and real life in the same breath.

This retreat holds you through ritual, fire, women's circles, embodied facilitation, movement, sound, nature, and nourishment — with no one trying to fix you. Because you don't need to be fixed. You need space to hear yourself. Enough structure to feel held, enough spaciousness to let the mystery breathe.

You don't need more information. You need initiation — a threshold where everything false can begin to fall away.
Four days in Montana won't solve every complexity of your life, but a sacred, soul-led container can let you feel something you haven't felt in a long time: what it's like to trust yourself, to be witnessed without performing, to gather beneath the Hunter's Moon at the edge of Samhain with women also learning to bring their darkness and light back together.
Your magic was never outside of you. It was in. You are not starting from nothing — you are excavating what has always been there.

You do not need to have it all figured out. You only need to be willing to step through and let the veil fall.

At Samhain, the harvest is complete and the dark half of the year begins. The old world understood this as a threshold: the fires were lit, the ancestors were honored, the unseen drew close, and the veil between worlds grew thin enough for whispers to pass through. It was not a season of pretending everything was still blooming.
It was a season of reverence, release, and readiness — a time to gather close, feed the flame, remember who came before, and prepare the soul for winter’s wisdom.
The Hunter’s Moon rises in this same liminal space, bright over bare fields and thinning forests, when what was once hidden becomes easier to track. For generations, its light helped communities prepare for the colder months ahead; symbolically, it sharpens instinct, illuminates what is ready to be seen, and calls us back to the wild intelligence beneath our polished lives.
VeilFall gathers at this crossing — where Samhain asks us to honor what is ending, and the Hunter’s Moon asks us to follow what is stirring. Here, beneath moonlight and firelight, we release what can no longer come with us and reclaim the magic that has been waiting in the dark.

VeilFall is an intimate Samhain and Hunter’s Moon gathering for women who are ready to stop fearing their own darkness and begin trusting the wisdom, instinct, and magic that live beneath the performance.
Through ritual, embodiment, elemental practice, soul-led facilitation, and sacred sisterhood, this gathering invites women to release what no longer belongs, reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to abandon, and cross the threshold into a deeper, more sovereign relationship with themselves.

Why we created VeilFall
VeilFall came to life through the same kind of intuitive thread we are inviting women to trust within themselves.

What began as a conversation between two friends quickly became something neither of us could ignore: Samhain, the Hunter’s Moon, Montana, the dark half of the year, the women we both work with, and the shared knowing that so many of us are being asked to meet ourselves more honestly than ever before.
A few exchanged texts turned into a complete pinterest vision board, dates on the calendar, and a domino of every single thing falling into place with complete agreement and ease.

We created this gathering because we know what it feels like to be in the middle of becoming — to outgrow old identities, question what once felt certain, feel your power rising, and still wonder whether you are allowed to fully trust it.

Kelsey brings the soul-level mirror: intuition, energy, spiritual guidance, and a deep devotion to helping women hear the signal beneath the noise.

Emily brings the group container: identity reclamation, emotional depth, embodied facilitation, and years of gathering women into spaces where they can stop performing and tell the truth.

Together, we created VeilFall as a place for women to be held in the threshold — not rushed, fixed, or told who to become, but given the ritual, beauty, spaciousness, and sisterhood to remember what has been within them all along.
At some point, a woman realizes she does not need another room where she has to explain herself into belonging. Not another space where her becoming has to be translated into something more digestible, where her depth is treated like drama, her intuition like confusion, her grief like something to fix, her power like something to soften, or her longing like something she should have outgrown by now. She needs a place where she can arrive with the fullness of herself intact — the questions, the ache, the laughter, the grief, the fire, the softness, the uncertainty, the magic, the parts of her that are tender and strange and powerful and tired and wise and still becoming.

VeilFall was created to hold her there. Not to polish her, fix her, rush her, or hand her another identity to perform, but to offer a threshold strong enough for her own knowing to rise. This retreat holds you through ritual, fire, women’s circles, embodied facilitation, movement, sound, nature, beauty, and nourishment — with no one trying to make your depths more comfortable for the room. Because you do not need to be fixed. You need space to hear yourself. Enough structure to feel held, enough spaciousness to let the mystery breathe, and enough honest sisterhood to remember that you were never meant to carry this becoming alone.

This is what we are ready to hold with you: the realness, the beauty, the laughter after the tears, the quiet moments by the fire, the parts of you that have been waiting for a safe enough place to finally exhale. We are not asking you to become more magical, more spiritual, more healed, more polished, or more impressive before you arrive. We are inviting the woman who is already here beneath the veil — the one who has been whispering through your body, your dreams, your questions, your discontent, your desire, and your knowing — to step forward and be met.

The veil is already falling. The circle is forming. And if something in you has been saying, this is where I am meant to be, we are ready for you.
VeilFall is not a retreat from your life, it is an initiation into it
