LISTEN TO 5 STRATEGIES TO CREATE BETTER HABITS WITH EMILY SHAW, DAIRY GIRL FITNESS ON: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Your player of choicePodcast
Today’s guest, Emily Shaw, and I have been social media friends for a few years so bringing her on the podcast today felt extra fun and special! Our conversation was sparked by an instagram post about 5 strategies to create better habits. As I scrolled through the post nodding along, I knew we had to create this episode to share with you! I hope you find this topic and conversation as valuable as I do!
Emily, 27, is a Pennsylvania dairy girl who now resides in Florida. She is the owner and founder of Dairy Girl Fitness, an online personal training business and community that offers 1-1 and group coaching for women.
She grew up very involved in youth dairy organizations through her family’s show herd, Linden-Loch Holsteins. Along with her love for the dairy industry, Emily spent the rest of her free time playing an array of sports year round. This is where her passions for dairy and health came from, and helped form the idea for Dairy Girl Fitness.
Dairy Girl Fitness was created almost five years ago as Emily’s way to show others that you don’t need to cut dairy and other animal products out of your diet to be “healthy.” She wants to encourage women to make their health a priority, and show that it doesn’t have to be extreme or confusing. Emily wants Dairy Girl Fitness to represent a strong, confident, and hardworking group of women.
In this episode about strategies to create better habits, we cover:
The role habits play in accomplishing the things we want to accomplish
Being intentional with our habits and the actions we take
How important both our mindset and our environment are if we want to make changes
The 5 strategies to create better habits (plus TWO bonus strategies!)
