I’m joined by my wonderful friend, Kaitlin Cox, for today’s episode!
Kaitlin came to my Ascend retreat in 2023, and I’ve absolutely loved getting to know her better since we first connected. Like so many of us, Kaitlin was on a pretty ‘predictable’ trajectory in her life. After experiencing a miscarriage with her first baby, and then later, the heartbreaking loss of her baby girl at 37 weeks, she felt emotionally raw. Kaitlin took time to give herself space to heal after everything she had been through, and she really turned inward to her faith. Eventually, she stepped into what she thought was her dream job as a hairstylist educator. The stability of this job made her feel safe, and while it gave her healing during one of the hardest times in her life, she knew she was meant for more.
Kaitlin and I are talking about loss, healing, and empowerment, and what it looks like to pursue true alignment and purpose. We’re discussing how the power of intentionality and tenacity can support you with no longer fearing failure, leaning into your faith during life’s many ups and downs, not getting ‘bogged down’ with the big picture, Kaitlin’s podcast and her new, upcoming event to inspire and bring more women together in community, and more.
Gaining clarity, confidence, and self-awareness in what you’re doing in your life is super important. When you’re able to create and sustain a reality that really fills your cup, the ripple effects that happen as a result are pretty magical. I am SO grateful for the opportunity to have gotten to know Kaitlin, and to continue witnessing the beautiful work she is doing to help the women she’s in community with. If your story is one of loss, healing, empowerment, or anything in between, I know you’ll be able to gain so much from this episode!
