LISTEN TO HOW TO LIVE LIFE ON PURPOSE – MY INTERVIEW ON THE THROWING WRENCHES MENDING FENCES PODCAST ON: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Your player of choicePodcast

I have a fun episode to share with you today, and it’s a little different than normal!

I was a guest on my friend Sarah Zastrow’s podcast, Throwing Wrenches Mending Fences, and it was a really powerful conversation that left me feeling so uplifted when I was done. I decided to share that interview with you this week, so you’ll still get to hear from me, but also, you’ll get to meet and learn from Sarah too (spoiler-she’s amazing)!

In today’s episode, Sarah and I talk more about how to live life on purpose. We dive into topics like finding joy, intentionality, and purpose in whatever season of life you’re in, choosing to ask yourself the hard questions (even when it’s, well..hard), the importance of setting boundaries for farming families when it comes to work and family, and more.

My conversation with Sarah was SUCH a good one, and we dove into so many things that aren’t always talked about, but definitely need to be addressed. I totally felt fired up after this one, and I hope you love this conversation as much as I did!

In this episode about how to live life on purpose, we cover:

  • My story of stepping into the farm/rural life + my discovery of the world of personal development, and all that has evolved since then

  • How the pandemic was like an awakening for so many people, and really challenged us to take a closer look at our lives

  • Finding joy, intentionality, and purpose in whatever season of life you’re in + still pursuing your unique goals and dreams

  • Taking time to be reflective and ask yourself the hard questions, even when it’s uncomfortable

  • Learning to operate from a place of peace and contentment instead of constant stress and chaos

  • Finding balance in the day-to-day life (and why this doesn’t mean everything is getting equal parts of your energy and focus)

  • Why workaholism shouldn’t be celebrated in agriculture + why it’s SO necessary for farming families to set boundaries when it comes to work and family

  • Bringing together the personal growth + business development for yourself with your farm, instead of keeping them totally separate
