Let’s talk about the big ole elephant in the room that so many of us are secretly grappling with, but no one seems to be talking about: the moments, days or weeks as entrepreneurs where we spiral into self doubt and want to burn the whole thing down (iykyk).

Don’t get me wrong, being an entrepreneur is the BEST: choosing the type of work you’re doing, who you’re working with, what your schedule looks like, creative freedom and more.

It’s also really freaking hard.

Because YOU are the business, entrepreneurship can bring out our biggest insecurities, especially when things go awry. I’ve struggled with my fair share of self doubt and confidence throughout my entrepreneurial journey, but I’ve learned a whole lot of the ebbs and flows of business along the way. These days, I’m much better equipped to handle those spiral out type moments and don’t stay stuck in those hard moments for nearly as long as I used to.

In today’s episode, I want to share some thoughts and strategies to help you do the same so you can get back to the momentum, energy, and impact that you love in your business!

Ultimately, I want you to know that you are NOT alone, and it’s okay to feel like you don’t always have it all together. No one really does after all!

In this episode about embracing the entrepreneurial spiral, we cover:

  • Understanding that the ups and downs of entrepreneurship are really just a normal part of the process

  • Why it’s totally okay to ‘jump off the deep end’ and swim in the deep water for a bit before you move on

  • The comparison trap with social media, which can lead to the unsettling thoughts you’re having about your business

  • The power of surrounding yourself with a community who can speak life into you and remind you of your purpose

  • Getting very clear on your priorities and deciding if what you’re doing is in alignment for you and your business

  • Evaluating how you are really taking care of YOU

  • Learning to celebrate yourself and sit in an abundance mindset vs. scarcity mindset

  • Reflecting back on why you started your business in the first place
