I have a very special episode to share with you today, because for the first time, I’m interviewing my guest in PERSON! My family and I took a cross country road trip, and one of our stops was visiting my lovely friend, April Roberts, and her family. We’re diving into alllll the things like farm life, social media, therapy, traveling, relationships, and more on today’s episode. April was one of my first friends on Instagram, and I’m so grateful for this conversation we were able to have. She really is being intentional about living life to the fullest, and I can’t wait for you to hear all of the goodness she has to share!
April Roberts is the owner of Five Heart Farms in eastern New Mexico. She grew up in the city and moved to the farm 10 years ago. Since then, she’s created a place on their family farm for gathering the community to grow closer to agriculture and closer to one another. She’s passionate about mental health, family, growing flowers, and bringing people together.
In this episode about living life to the fullest, we cover:
Starting your own farm and gradually adding new things to continue growing and connecting with your community
April’s story of earning a solid income by sharing on social media, and what she experienced along the way
The powerful life changes that can happen by going to therapy
Prioritizing family trips and traveling when you’re in agriculture, and how you can do so
Getting very clear on your priorities and being intentional about what you want your life to look like
Learning to accept yourself and be confident in who you really are
